Zenkx… as a boy XD

Nah, just kidding!

This is actually a picture I found in the back of my closet, along an unopened plastic of adult diapers (from my mom was hospitalized for surgery, but she never used them) and well… my other personal items.

I swear, my closet is a forest. XD

Anyway, this is an old picture of me (circa 2007) when I had the “Sasuke Cut” (from Naruto). Actually… this was before the Naruto Fad started. I think I got the haircut from a member of My Chemical Romance. Yeah, I got it from the whole emo fad. ~_~

I found it while looking for old pictures of me with short hair. My hair is shoulder-length right now, trimmed once and a while, and it’s was getting really bothersome as I like the wind on my nape. I was thinking of a pixie cut, or something short with layers. I have a really round face, and it’s really hard to find a short cut for it. Not to mention it’s a little wavy when it grows back, since I’ve been rebonding it for three years now.

But now, I really HATE rebonding, and I really don’t want to do it anymore. I just want it to be low maintenance, but still pretty.

Oh man… somebody find me a decent hair stylist. ~_~

R.I.P. Randy “Macho Man” Savage

Randall Mario Poffo, known as Randy “Macho Man” Savage in the WWF/WWE universe has died last May 20, 2011.

Local policemen and roadside assistance club members said that Mr. Poffo was driving when he suffered a heart attack, which led him to lose control of his vehicle and hit a tree. His second wife, Lynn Payne, which he married just last year, was also in the car, but she suffered only minor injuries.

Randy Savage was one of the WWF Superstars that became embedded in my mind ever since I was young. My Brother, Kharlo, used to to imitate him as a child along with Ultimate Warrior. We would sit around in front of the TV just to watch them, afterwards my brother would try and get on top of mother’s headboard (or top rope as he called it XD) and jump down on us…. which obviously, led me to cry. XD

Sometimes, the WWF would show their matches so late at night that it was scheduled after my bed time, but my brother would still watch. I’d struggle to keep my eyes open just to see them, so I wouldn’t fall asleep. But I end up falling asleep anyway. ~_~

He had a lot of rivalry matches with Hulk Hogan. Watching them were great. We always thought that it was real life when the two of them are in the ring. They brawl like it’s not scripted…

Anyway, as a wrestling fan, you will surely be missed, Randy Savage. You will always be a Macho Man in the hearts of the wrestling community…

The Future Photographer?

Actually, that’s my nephew who has recently been into photography. He is so awesome.

And he’s so grown up! Sheesh! One of these days, I’m going to have to buy him some new parish clothing… he’s reaching my height already. ~_~

I took this photo when we ate out after his Elementary graduation. Sheeesh. The kid is in high school already… I can still remember when he was two years old, when we were sitting at the front seat of my mother’s car, singing “Eyes On Me” by Faye Wong while we waited for her to finish her shopping. Those were the days. T_T

He’s growing up way too fast for me. It makes me feel so old. XD

But, I’m still a bit happy, especially since I was able to teach him some photography. I actually envy him a bit, since he can use his parents’ Canon DSLR camera when he’s taking pictures. I hope he can harness his skills in photography, I could tell he has the eyes for it. Maybe when he reaches the proper age, I can be bring him to our photo walks.

Hmm… a 12-year old kid, capturing photos with a DSLR camera borrowed from his parent… it kind of reminds me of me when I was still using my dad’s SLR camera fifteen years ago. It kind of made me envious that he can use the DSLR, but then again, I have my own Point and Shoot camera that has yet to fail me. Hahaha. Besides, like my friends used to say, “it’s not the bow, it’s the Indian.” XD
