My Dad And Danny Trejo

So yeah, recently my father came home to spend a few months of “vacation” time here after his months of being at sea.

And guess who he bumps into while waiting around the airport?

DANNY TREJO!!!

Yep, it’s Johnny 23 himself, who my dad saw while he was waiting around the airport’s Retail System. As it turns out, Mr. Trejo here was on his way to Los Angeles, California at that time.

I’m actually a little shocked… as it turns out my dad is actually taller than him. But my dad said he was a very cool, down-to-earth guy, who didn’t shun his fans even as the crowd got thicker with people trying to get his autograph. He looks different when he smiles, which is much better than his scary looks like in Con Air and Desperado.

Anyway, Danny Trejo is a kick a$$ action movie actor, as it turns out, he’s a pretty cool, normal guy as well. I wish more celebrities would be this awesome when greeting fans.

Rest In Peace, Ryan Dunn

How ironic is this? Just this Saturday, I was laughing my butt off because of this man’s gimmicks in “Jackass 3D”, and now he’s gone.

It’s scary and saddening. T_T

Anyway, for those who don’t know, Ryan Dunn, who is one of the regular stuntmen in Jackass and Viva La Bam, died in a car crash along with his passenger who is now identified as Zachary Hartwell, one of the production assistants of Jackass 2, and a stunt driver.

Now the irony gets worse… a stunt driver who died in a car crash even though he wasn’t in a movie and he’s not driving. ~_~

A lot of people are mourning Ryan Dunn, me included. He was one of the people who didn’t have to shave or buy testoripped to be fun and awesome (yes, humor is awesome, people). However, in the reports, it was said was Dunn was drunk at the time of the accident, having tweeted an image of him drinking with friends a few hours before the accident (the image has since been deleted). Critics and fans alike are debating left and right about what happened to Dunn, and although I’d like say my thoughts on this, I think I’ll keep it for myself for now, out of respect for those people who are affected by this tragedy.

Aw, man… I wonder how Bam Margera is doing… he’s one of my favorite skateboarder/Jackass, and he’s the one closest to Dunn. The dude must be crushed. Hang in there, Bam!

Anyway, my thoughts, prayers and condolences to Ryan Dunn’s family and friends. He was an awesome dude, and will always be remembered by all Jackass fans.

Gaga Over Lady GaGa

Yep, I am so obsessed with this woman. And not in any perverted fashion. XD

I swear, the woman is a PHENOMENON! It’s been barely 5 years since she released her first single, “Poker Face”, and already she won awards. That’s something a lot of artists wished to achieve.

Actually, when I first heard Poker Face, I didn’t quite catch on with it. But soon enough, I started having LSD (Last Song Disorder XD), and the song I kept singing was Poker face. Sheesh. ~_~

She reminds me of a mixture of artists, actually. She has the grit, daring and fashion sense of Madonna and Cher. Her voice however, separates her from other artists, since it is (for me) very diverse, from the deep husky tones in “Bad Romance” to the sweet, all-most childish tones I hear in “Eh Eh (There’s Nothing Else I Can Say)”.

As for her looks, there has been some debate about it. She is, as some might say, not remarkably pretty. She has a rather plain face, a face that doesn’t stand out in a crowd. She does, however, have a gorgeous figure (most specifically her rear assets XD), that chubby girls like me would spend millions on Gym memberships just to get it. XD

Anyway, I get this feeling that it’ll be a long, LONG time before Lady GaGa fades from the music scene. The funny thing is, here in the Philippines, “Gaga” means a stupid girl. Hmm… but you can’t exactly call Lady GaGa “stupid”, since she does have 2 Grammy Awards and countless nominations. XD

Sandra Bullock Heartaches

In the latest (well, sort of) Tinseltown news, Sandra Bullock is apparently heart broken on the recent news that her husband for 3 years, Jesse James, had been confirmed to be having an affair during her filming of the movie “The Blind Side”.

Tons of fans and artists such as Keanu Reeves, Mo’nique and Belle White have been extending her their support to her through Twitter and other networking sites. And as a Sandy fan as well, I am also sending my deepest regards and hope that Sandy would find the strength in this most critical hours of her marriage.

As for me, I will agree with Belle White’s comment when she said she wants to kick James’ a$$. I, for one, can’t understand why men would want to cheat on women like Sandra Bullock. I mean, she’s fun and smart and funny and beautiful and successful… what other reason would a man want to cheat on a woman like that? Sheesh, it kind of makes me envy psychologists, at least they have some sort of idea about why these kind of things happen.

Anyway, back to Ms. Sandy, she is a wonderful woman and she deserves better. If the reports on the divorce were true and it DOES follow through, it would be James’ loss, not Sandy’s. The saying, “There’s plenty of fish in the sea” is actually wrong… it ought to be “there’s plenty of GOOD fish in the sea”. And Ms. Sandy is one of them.

Johnny Depp is H-A-W-T!!!

I have come to the conclusion that Johnny Depp, no matter how made up or grudgy or messy or clean he looks in all his movies, is still one of the hottest man alive. XD

Just look at him! Even after all that make up in Alice, he still looks awesome… maybe he uses tons of acne cleansers to clean them up, but he still looks frickin’ good.

He has a new movie coming out, co-starring Angelina Jolie, and a paparazzo took a picture of him wearing pajamas, and STILL he looked yummy. I swear, he probably could walk around wearing nothing but a potato sack and the girls (me included) would still swoon at the sight of him.

*And yes, I still haven’t gotten over my Alice in Wonderland euphoria XD*
