Early Morning Wake-Up Ukulele?
Is it so wrong of me to wish I could do something like this on my wood daybed frame at 5am in the morning? XD
Anyway, My Ukulele Obsession would’ve has reached new heights if I would want to play ukulele at such an early time. Every one in my house is still sleeping, and I’m probably going to wake everyone up if I do this.
I’m really beginning to enjoy playing the ukulele… it’s actually shocking since I’ve never really been so obsessed about something like this.
Don’t get me wrong. I still suck a little… I can’t sing for the life of me. And I just found out that there’s a strumming technique I can’t do (huhuhu T_T). But as far as being a beginner, I think I’m doing pretty good. Especially now that I’ve bought a decent beginner’s ukulele. Which I will tell you about some other time. XD
Not to mention I’ve just found someone here in Manila who sells D’Addario Ukulele strings! Whooot!
*So yeah… this is probably one of the reasons why I haven’t been blogging lately. My brand-spanking-new ukulele sounds positively AWESOME with D’Addario strings XD*
Hmm… maybe I’ll do this kind of early morning ukulele when I’m alone at home sometime. XD

Bellydance Career? I Think Not.
No, I am not ready for professional bellydance, I think.
I’ve had three performances already. The 1st one on my mother’s birthday, the 2nd one on my gym’s Christmas Party, and the third one on my office’s Christmas Party.
And after all that, I have come to the conclusion that I am not ready for professional bellydance. XD
Don’t get me wrong, I love dancing. There is something about hearing the music out of the home theater speakers that make me just want to move, even though I might not move very well. It’s actually a great feeling. It’s like everything blacks out and all that’s with you is the music.
But still, I am not in par of other bellydancers. I have way, WAAAAAY lot more stuff to learn. I still haven’t mastered my zills, I haven’t done veils and veil pois and sword balancing… I can’t even do Rachel’s backbend. ~_~
I still have a lot of training and practice to do. I just hope my teacher at the gym would be more than happy to teach me. I think I’m really passionate about bellydance. ^_^
By the way, just in case you guys didn’t know, I’ve had 2 bellydance videos in YouTube. Click here to view my YouTube profile and see what other stuff I have in there. XD

Ukelele Obsession!!!
I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE UKELELE!!!!
All because of this woman. XD
I’ve heard that it’s only three to four chords. But I don’t have a ukelele… T_T
Remind me to buy one when I get enough money. XD

An Aunt’s Pride

Yep! I am so proud of my nephew! XD
I told you guys already about how we had a Photowalk in Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife in Quezon City.
What I didn’t tell you is that my nephew won 2nd place in our Photo Challenge!
Me so proud! I almost had a heart attack because I was so happy! Maybe I should consider bringing a medical computer cart to check my vitals during photowalks. XD
I’ve been giving my nephew several lessons on how to shoot using his father’s DSLR, and my good ol’ Point and Shoot, and I’m happy to see that he’s doing great. So great, in fact, that I lost to him that day, having only 1 vote. XD
But hey, I’m just happy to see that he’s a great photographer, and that he has an eye for photography. I’ve encouraged him to keep at it, and hopefully, he’ll be a better photographer than I am.
Keep up the good work, dude! When we have another photowalk, I’ll make sure to bring you along again!

Can You Move Like Jagger?
Because I sure as heck can’t XD.
Anyway, I’ve been so obsessed with this song lately, mainly because it’s one of the songs my bellydance instructor makes us dance to. But I get the feeling that I might need to consult some people with Radiologic Technician Jobs… because my back is killing me. >_<
I don’t know… it just seemed rather… catchy. My bellydance teacher showed me this choreography and I just PANTED so much because it involved a lot of jumping around. And before that I had to do tons of shimmy drills, etc. My instructor is running me ragged during bellydance class, but I like it.
Anyway, I posted this because my brain just keeps playing this OVER and OVER and OVER in my head that I’m afraid this is going to play in my “blood whale” dreams. XD

Street Fighter X Tekken for 2012!
Is it just me or is Chun-Li’s thighs (and titanium bracelets for men)getting bigger every time Street Fighter has a new game out… ?
Anyway, looks like what I said before came true… THERE’S A STREET FIGHTER V.S. TEKKEN VIDEO GAME COMING OUT, PEOPLE!
Bad thing is, we don’t have a PS3, or an XBOX 360.
Looks like I need a credit card. >_<
Anyway, yup! Street Fighter VS Tekken will be coming out next year, and from what I've been reading around the net (and from my discussions with my BFF Joyce), the game is going to be great. So far, from the previews, I've been seeing a lot of old faces, though it was mentioned that there were going to be quite a few new characters, too.
Personally, I'm just happy that they made this. I guess it's going to beat the whole "Final Fantasy Dissidia" series out of the running, but still, I'm really apprehensive. The playing styles from the previews seems to lean more on the "Street Fighter" controls rather than the "Tekken" gameplay, so it might make Tekken lovers take some time first to practice. However, it's still a good thing to finally see that Ryu/Ken/Hwoarang/Steve Fox battle I've been dreaming about.
I wonder how much is an XBox nowadays... hmm...
Oh... I don't think Paul Phoenix was in the preview... >_<

The Glee Project
So get this…
It’s my 3rd day off during my 4-day weekend/holiday. I don’t have to go to work for 4 days, which should be pretty cool, since I scheduled everything well. We had a photowalk on Saturday, I had to go to Lagro on Sunday, and I had a gym date with my BFF Joyce on Monday.
Unfortunately, a storm picked it’s chance so show up its ugly head, and ruined our photowalk and my trip to Lagro. T_T
So there I was, bored to death, playing PC games in my laptop again, when I got extremely bored and decided to watch TV.
And then, lo and behold, I saw the cutest thing on TV… which is pretty huge since it’s been a while since I’ve seen anything cute on TV for a while. XD
This little piece of hotness right here is Samuel Larsen, one of the winners in Oxygen’s “The Glee Project”, where they conducted a reality contest to find out who would be the next person to be written into the TV show “Glee”. Fortunately, the show’s creator decided that the four final contestants (Damian McGinty, Samuel Larsen, Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell) would each have episodes in the TV show. Damian and Sam would have 7 episodes, and Lindsay and Alex would have 2 each.
Anyway, Sam is such a cutie! It’s been a while since I’ve seen someone who looks good with dreads and piercing. And he’s quite the musician as well. I might be a little delayed at knowing about him from TV, but well, it was worth it.
I swear, he is so cute….
Tales from the Isle of Marinduque Re-vamp
Yep, I’m home again from my vacation inf Marinduque.
Though I’m not really that excited about it… it’s too warm here in Manila, and I already miss the ocean breeze. ~_~
But I did miss my InterNet. My unlocked cell phones is pretty cool, but seeing as there are very few Wifi spots in Marinduque, I had to resort to using my relatives InterNet connection… but I can only be online for 5 minutes. (my mom had to use it to send e-mails to my dad ~_~)
Anyway, as stated, I have a lot of tales to spin about my time in Marinduque, unfortunately, I’m going to have to change the title. It’s waaaayyyy too long. Harharhar! I can’t imagine making a blog post about my Marinduque vacation by the time I’m 40 or something. It’ll be like “Tales from the Isle of Marinduque XX+”…. hahaha!
So stay tuned for my Marinduque stories… I’ve got lots of pictures! Man, I can’t believe I almost filled my camera’s memory card with pictures. I even drained my 2 sets of batteries during my whole trip! Sheesh! Plus you’ll be able to see me all red as a tomato. ~_~

Dissidia 012 Duodecim!!!
Yes! Thank God this game didn’t get canceled because of the Tsunami/Earthquake in Japan. I would’ve cried if it had. T_T
Anyway, yes, Final Fantasy Dissidia 012 Duodecim (wow! that’s a mouthful!) is released. Actually, it’s been released last March, but in case you didn’t notice, I’m a little behind on gaming news. ~_~
ME WANTS IT!!!
I think I should try and upgrade my PSP now… hopefully I could do so before the Holy Week… so I can play it non-stop during my vacation. XD
Sephiroth is still so hawt! XD

The Future Photographer?

Actually, that’s my nephew who has recently been into photography. He is so awesome.
And he’s so grown up! Sheesh! One of these days, I’m going to have to buy him some new parish clothing… he’s reaching my height already. ~_~
I took this photo when we ate out after his Elementary graduation. Sheeesh. The kid is in high school already… I can still remember when he was two years old, when we were sitting at the front seat of my mother’s car, singing “Eyes On Me” by Faye Wong while we waited for her to finish her shopping. Those were the days. T_T
He’s growing up way too fast for me. It makes me feel so old. XD
But, I’m still a bit happy, especially since I was able to teach him some photography. I actually envy him a bit, since he can use his parents’ Canon DSLR camera when he’s taking pictures. I hope he can harness his skills in photography, I could tell he has the eyes for it. Maybe when he reaches the proper age, I can be bring him to our photo walks.
Hmm… a 12-year old kid, capturing photos with a DSLR camera borrowed from his parent… it kind of reminds me of me when I was still using my dad’s SLR camera fifteen years ago. It kind of made me envious that he can use the DSLR, but then again, I have my own Point and Shoot camera that has yet to fail me. Hahaha. Besides, like my friends used to say, “it’s not the bow, it’s the Indian.” XD
