Of Micheal Jackson and Farrah Fawcett

Dude, just how scary is this?

I wake up this morning and found in the news that 2 of the coolest people on Earth have died.

It’s really scary.

For those who are a bit slow on the news, The King of Pop, Micheal Jackson, and the former Charlie’s Angels hottie, Farrah Fawcett, have died, and it seems, in the same day.

Micheal’s death has been said to have been caused by a heart attack, although this rumor hasn’t been disclosed yet, while Farrah died after her drawn out battle with cancer.

Oh boy, the fans are going to go nuts after this. Not to mention the press.

Obviously, Micheal’s death is going to cause mass hysteria with fans. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be like Hide’s death in Japan almost a decade ago. I’m afraid that his death might cause fans to pursue suicide. It’s a scary thought, but if you look at Hide’s death in Japan back in 1997, a lot of his loyal fans killed themselves out of grief. And considering that Micheal is a bigger music icon than Hide, I have a great feeling of dread that loyal fans of Micheal might do the same.

But still, considering all the drama that Micheal has been through, or all the pain that Farrah has been in, I am, in a way, thankful that they have gone into a happier place. I mean, ever since Micheal’s rise to stardom, all he has been in is the news and all these nasty rumors spread in an effort to stain his name. It almost did. In fact, it REALLY did. Micheal has been lying low ever since his newest lawsuit for supposedly “harrassing” a kid who was a cancer survivor.

And Farrah’s cancer battle has gone on for way too long. I admire her for her courage for battling such a disease. She’s a really courageous woman, who showed how real ladies would handle life despite of adversity and rise above them. I hope that her life would be an inspiration for all women.

Anyway, since they both have gone to better places, I hope the media would stop hounding them now. They have gone, and I hope the media vultures would have enough respect and decency to give these two the peace that they have been deprived of ever since they became superstars.
