Dissidia 012 Duodecim!!!

Yes! Thank God this game didn’t get canceled because of the Tsunami/Earthquake in Japan. I would’ve cried if it had. T_T

Anyway, yes, Final Fantasy Dissidia 012 Duodecim (wow! that’s a mouthful!) is released. Actually, it’s been released last March, but in case you didn’t notice, I’m a little behind on gaming news. ~_~

ME WANTS IT!!!

I think I should try and upgrade my PSP now… hopefully I could do so before the Holy Week… so I can play it non-stop during my vacation. XD

Sephiroth is still so hawt! XD

Whisper Hungarian in My Ear

I don’t mean literally. XD

It’s just a new song I heard from Rachel Brice’s Serpentine DVD called “Whisper Hungarian in my Ear” by a band called The Toids. I really like it… its something that I’d want to hear everyday using home audio speakers.

In the DVD, this song has a choreography, which, unfortunately for a chubby bellydance newbie such as myself, is pretty hard. But I’m hoping I can learn it pretty soon. XD

I find the song really mysterious, and somewhat calming. I think it’s the violins.

Anyway, aside from the choreography, Rachel Brice and her friends actually created a “mash-up” short film with the song. It featured horror actor Bela Lugosi, and they merged the film with the dancing of Rachel Brice’s group, the Indigo Bellydance (which includes members Mardi Love and Zoe Jakes). It looks really awesome, actually. It’s like the three dancers are Bela Lugosi’s graceful ghosts seductresses.

Huwaaa… Rachel Brice Love! <3

It'll be a while before I can actually dance to Rachel Brice's choreography of this song, but I guess for the meantime, I'll dance it with my own choreo. XD

Where’s Yoshitaka Amano-san? And Gaming News

With all these deaths and these tragedies going on in Japan, I’m beginning to worry about my favorite painter, Yoshitaka Amano. T_T

Oh man, I’m tearing up just worrying about him. (But hey, give me a break will ya? I already cried and howled with worry when I remembered Gackt, and I cried with joy when I found out he was alive ~_~).

Amano became my favorite painter after I saw his illustration of Final Fantasy VI in the internet, and after seeing his Vampire Hunter D art. They were masterpieces to me. The brushstrokes of his paintings were so fine, and it was just beautiful. I literally scourged around all National Bookstores in my area to find a copy of his collaborative work with Neil Gaiman called “Sandman: The Dream Hunters”. (sorry, Neil Gaiman fans, I liked the story, but I loved the art. XD)

I just hope he is okay. Amano-san, if you’re out there, please tell your fans that you are safe! We are so worried. T_T

*me regretting not being able to take online nursing degree begins now ~_~*

In other news about Japan, since I’ve already posted stuff about J-celebrities, it’s about time that I moved on to the every awesome Japanese Gaming Industry… which luckily will continue to thrive (hooray). Several of Japan’s gaming companies have now posted in Twitter about they’re current statuses. The first one I checked was Square Enix (of course, I’d try to find them first, they made the FF series!) and luckily they are all fine, although they’re online servers will be down for the week and probably longer due to power issues. Sony Entertainment is also okay, so are the Sega Community and Nintendo company. Hideo Kojima, of Kojima Productions and Konami (also creator of the gad-awesome Metal Gear series) is also okay.

Unfortunately, due to the destruction and also power outages in Japan, it has been announced that several games will have delivery issues, or will end up being altered or cancelled.

Ouch, I just hope Dissidia 012 won’t be one of them. ~_~

I hope that all these people are well somewhere, surrounded by people who have had online nursing degree to take care of them.

Driving Angry With Nicholas Cage

Sheesh, if I keep watching movies like these, I’m going to need the cheapest car insurance available. ~_~

Yep, Nicholas Cage is up with another movie about… you guessed it… cars, speed and redemption. It’s title is “Drive Angry” (WHICH I HOPE YOU WON’T DO IN REAL LIFE!!! ~_~) I don’t know if it’s just me, but I am actually getting pretty tired at seeing Nicholas Cage in roles like these. You know… the whole speed freak with some quest for redemption or revenge. I mean, he had a similar role in Ghostrider, and in Bangkok Dangerous, and in Gone in 60 seconds. I kind of miss his romantic roles like in City of Angels. I wonder when he’ll ever think of getting roles like that again…

Anyway, I guess it just really shows that he is really picking out the roles he likes, and especially how much into speed he is.

The Avengers Movie Project

I swear, all these comic book movies are making me so excited! My heart is going so fast, I swear it’s like I ran or took diet tablets.

THE AVENGER’S MOVIE IN 2012, PEOPLE!!!

Awesome! It’s been confirmed that The Avengers is set to release in 2012. The production crew had already chosen some new (and old) actors to play one of my favorite comic book groups. So far, these are the confirmed actors/superheroes for the movie:

Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark/Ironman
Scarlett Johanssen as Black Widow
Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson
Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury
Chris Hemsworth as Thor
Chris Evans as Captain America
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/ The Incredible Hulk
Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye

Hmm… I’m actually suprised that Spiderman and Wolverine isn’t included in the list, since they are two of the most recognizable Avengers in the comic books. But according to some sources, the reason why Spiderman wasn’t included is that there is already a new Spiderman film being made. Apparently, the ones that Toby Maguire did needed a little tweaking. And as for Wolverine, it’s been said that another X-Men:Origins film is being produced, but is yet to be confirmed.

I’m actually a little disappointed to not see Edward Norton reprise the role of Bruce Banner. I think he was great at that movie. Mark Rufallo needs to step up his game, and brings justice to the role of Hulk. As for Jeremy Renner, I know for a fact that he is a great actor due to his acting in the Hurt Locker. I think dressing up as Hawkeye will be easy for him.

I’m also a bit disappointed at Chris Evans. I mean, so many movie fans have gotten so used to him being The Human Torch in the Fantastic Four movies… why did have to go and star as Captain America as well? I have no issues with his acting, I just wish he (and the other actors from the Fantastic Four films) would appear as another member of the Avengers, which he had already played. I think I’m much used to him being Johnny Storm than Captain America….

Anyway, maybe I shouldn’t critique it too much yet, specially with a director like Joss Whedon at the helm, I bet it’s going to be an awesome movie. Sheesh, 2011 just started, but now I’m wishing it’s 2012 already just because of this project. XD

Thor The Movie!!!

He’s big, he’s blond, he has a huge Mjolnir… and he’s a GOD!

I am talking about Thor, Marvel Comic’s awesome heroes, one of the original Avengers, and Norse God of Thunder.

And he’s got his own movie, starring hunky Australian dude, Chris Hemsworth… a new Hollywood actor who is, admittedly quite a harbinger of drool. XD

Oh man… his abs… HIS ABS!!! This man’s abs is soooo frickin’ hot! Hahaha! Maybe he’s got a great diet, with a matching exercise routine. You can’t get that sort of abs just from taking safe diet pills… believe me, I tried. XD

But now that I think about it, I don’t remember the original Thor from the comic books as having a scruffy beard… maybe I haven’t been reading comic books as often as I used to. Hmm… actually, I know another guy who looks great with long blond hair, scruffy beard and war armor.

And that is Karl Urban, the man who played Eomer from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. XD

Anyway, from the preview, I can see that he is a great actor, and the way he said “Earth” in the preview made me drool a little. Hahaha! Plus, he gets to snog (meaning kiss) Natalie Portman. Talk about awesome. XD

It was also mentioned that Chris Hemsworth will be continuing his portrayal of Thor in another project… a film adaptation of “The Avengers”. But that, my friends, will be another story, which I’ll continue once I find my drool bucket. XD

Green Lantern The Movie

Looks like 2011 is shaping up to be a great year for super hero movies.

Personally, I am looking forward to this movie, featuring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, also known as the Green Lantern.

I want one of those rings… I wish there were cubic zirconia engagement rings that are shaped to look like the Green Lantern’s ring. XD

Personally… I’m not really fond of Ryan Reynold’s playing as Green Lantern. Viewers already saw him as Deadpool, from the X-Men Origins film, and I like him more in that role. He’s great with that role, mainly because he has the same attitude as Deadpool from the comic books. He does look good with the green-and-black suit and the mask though. I hope he does justice playing Hal Jordan.

Anyway, so far, I have seen four movie previews of super hero films for this year… one of them is the Green Lantern. There’s also “The Green Hornet” with Seth Rogen and Jay Chou, “Captain America: The First Avenger” with Chris Evans, who also played Johnny Storm aka Human Torch in the Fantastic Four films, and another film I’m looking forward to is “Thor” played by Australian hunk, Chris Hemsworth. I’ve also heard that there’s a new, rebooted Spider Man film set to release in 2012, and “The Avengers” film project is about to begin.

Whew… so many comic book heroes, so few film makers. I wonder when will they ever create a “Wonder Woman” film?

Fast Five

Yep, the preview for the fifth (and probably last) sequel for Fast and The Furious franchise, entitled “Fast Five” has just been released!

Meaning a lot of fanatics are going to need cheap auto insurance again, since they will probably be drifting and driving like in the movie. XD

Man, I haven’t seen any good driving movies lately. Everything is about fantasy or superhero stories, especially with the releases of “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows”, the “Twilight” series, “The Green Lantern” and “Thor” (I’m hoping my brother can score us some tickets for the last two XD). I’m looking forward to watching something different again.

Not to mention one of my favorite wrestlers, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, is in the movie as well!

And of course the ever drool-worthy, hunk-of-muscle-and-hotness Vin Diesel is back again, along with his co-stars. If you watch the preview closely, it seems like a lot of people from the last four sequels are back and raring to put the pedal to the metal.

And the cars… Oh my Gawd! The cars! They look so awesome in the preview! I hope they can showcase great cars again (as they often do XD), particularly new released models. Even though I am not much of a mechanic, I do appreciate a certain beauty in cars. XD

Anyway, there’s no date of release for the movie yet (darn ~_~), but I sure hope it’s pretty soon! ^_^v

Computer Parts Accessories

Hahaha, I found this in the InterNet today, and I realized I want one so much. XD

I found out that recently, a lot of computer techies have been using computer parts and lingo as fashion accessories…. although I think it’s going to be a little too uncomfortable to give, like, a Delete or Backspace button as a Wedding Jewelry. XD

Stuff like keys from a keyboard, capacitors, LED lights and even a USB flashdrive can be used as bracelets, earrings, pendants and necklaces.

Maybe that should be the thing that I did with my old computer parts. It would be cool to have a bracelet that says “ZENKX” made with keyboard keys. XD

Urban Ninjas!

I am SOOOOOO envious of these guys, but I get the feeling that I’d have to take fat burners justso  I can get their physique. XD

They’re called “urban ninjas”, basically they’re like ninjas… only they jump around urban areas. Which is pretty cool. If I had this kind of skill, I’d be jumping around the mall when I’m doing my shopping or freak out my cousins… hahaha.

I wonder what kind of training they do? Of course they’d have to learn gymnastics, maybe a little bit of ninjutsu as well. But then again, there are some people who could learn these types of moves just by practicing, although I get the feeling they’d experience more bumps and bruises and accidents than those who did training. XD
