MY PS2 LIVES!!!

HAHAHAHAHA! It’s alive! IT’S ALIVE!!!

I swear, if this PS2 breaks down again and nobody can repair it, I’m going to encase it in glass and keep it in my cabinet (right next to my personalized baby gifts… which were prank gifts given to me by my friends ~_~).

Yep, I have no intention of selling or letting my PS2 rot. As long as there are people willing to download and burn game files for me, I would keep playing this!

Actually, I can’t afford a Wii or a PS3 yet (huhuhuhu much sadness T_T), but it’s okay. My PS2 is a little run down, but hey, I can still play some of the most awesome games in there, like FFX, God of War 1 and 2, Tales of Legendia and Abyss (not really a fan of Radiant Mythology for the PSP ~_~), Guitar Hero 2 and 3 and Metallica, Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria and my personal favorite, OKAMI!

*cuddles Okami CD case* (Oh my cute puppy Amaterasu, I missed you so much! XD)

As for the real reason it broke… hmm, maybe from over-use? Harharhar! When I was still a bum (yeah, I had a bum-phase for 3 years after my “graduation”), I used to play the PS2 for almost a day. But now that I have a job, I don’t think I’ll be that hard on it. Besides, I recently got Dissidia 012 Duodecim on my sister’s PSP, so yeah, I’ll be punishing the PSP more soon. >:)

Anyway, the guy who repaired it for me doesn’t have a website, but still, I want to thank him for being so awesome. His name is Jason, and he owns a small stall down at Sta. Lucia Mall (the old one) that sells platform games. He repaired it for me, upgraded my PSP and installed Duodecim.. Heehee! Thanks, Kuya Jason! ^_^v

Dissidia 012 Duodecim!!!

Yes! Thank God this game didn’t get canceled because of the Tsunami/Earthquake in Japan. I would’ve cried if it had. T_T

Anyway, yes, Final Fantasy Dissidia 012 Duodecim (wow! that’s a mouthful!) is released. Actually, it’s been released last March, but in case you didn’t notice, I’m a little behind on gaming news. ~_~

ME WANTS IT!!!

I think I should try and upgrade my PSP now… hopefully I could do so before the Holy Week… so I can play it non-stop during my vacation. XD

Sephiroth is still so hawt! XD

Whisper Hungarian in My Ear

I don’t mean literally. XD

It’s just a new song I heard from Rachel Brice’s Serpentine DVD called “Whisper Hungarian in my Ear” by a band called The Toids. I really like it… its something that I’d want to hear everyday using home audio speakers.

In the DVD, this song has a choreography, which, unfortunately for a chubby bellydance newbie such as myself, is pretty hard. But I’m hoping I can learn it pretty soon. XD

I find the song really mysterious, and somewhat calming. I think it’s the violins.

Anyway, aside from the choreography, Rachel Brice and her friends actually created a “mash-up” short film with the song. It featured horror actor Bela Lugosi, and they merged the film with the dancing of Rachel Brice’s group, the Indigo Bellydance (which includes members Mardi Love and Zoe Jakes). It looks really awesome, actually. It’s like the three dancers are Bela Lugosi’s graceful ghosts seductresses.

Huwaaa… Rachel Brice Love! <3

It'll be a while before I can actually dance to Rachel Brice's choreography of this song, but I guess for the meantime, I'll dance it with my own choreo. XD

Obsessed Again ~_~

Waaaaaa!!!!

Damn to the depths whoever invented anime. Hahaha!

I’m totally obsessing over “Kaichou wa Maid-sama”, an anime that was released just last year.

And I blame my sister! XD

Actually, I seem to have noticed that I watch animes with romances. Ouran… SA… Fushugi Yuugi…

Hmm… this is what happens when you’re a single woman obsessed with anime. XD

MOE~~~~ MOE~~~~ !!! XD

PhotoScape

Photobucket

*My cousin, JP… hahaha look at him go!

Yep, thanks to my blogging master, raredog, (who PM me while I was looking around for adapexin reviews ) I now have a new program to help me with my photo editing.

Yep, it’s PhotoScape, which is pretty much an old program, but hey, whatever works. XD

Originally, I intended to buy like some other software like PhotoShop, but I’m settling with this for now, since I don’t know much about PhotoShop. I think I need a teacher for that program first. ~_~

But PhotoScape is pretty good, and it’s especially fun for me now that I can make an animated GIF of my cousin’s dancing… or running… or whatever he’s doing. O_o

Thor The Movie!!!

He’s big, he’s blond, he has a huge Mjolnir… and he’s a GOD!

I am talking about Thor, Marvel Comic’s awesome heroes, one of the original Avengers, and Norse God of Thunder.

And he’s got his own movie, starring hunky Australian dude, Chris Hemsworth… a new Hollywood actor who is, admittedly quite a harbinger of drool. XD

Oh man… his abs… HIS ABS!!! This man’s abs is soooo frickin’ hot! Hahaha! Maybe he’s got a great diet, with a matching exercise routine. You can’t get that sort of abs just from taking safe diet pills… believe me, I tried. XD

But now that I think about it, I don’t remember the original Thor from the comic books as having a scruffy beard… maybe I haven’t been reading comic books as often as I used to. Hmm… actually, I know another guy who looks great with long blond hair, scruffy beard and war armor.

And that is Karl Urban, the man who played Eomer from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. XD

Anyway, from the preview, I can see that he is a great actor, and the way he said “Earth” in the preview made me drool a little. Hahaha! Plus, he gets to snog (meaning kiss) Natalie Portman. Talk about awesome. XD

It was also mentioned that Chris Hemsworth will be continuing his portrayal of Thor in another project… a film adaptation of “The Avengers”. But that, my friends, will be another story, which I’ll continue once I find my drool bucket. XD

Suit Up With DC Universe Online

I am beginning to think that I need a new computer other than this Acer laptop of mine. Mainly because I want to play this kick @$$ game!

It’s DC Universe Online, the newest brain-child of the wonderful people from Sony Entertainment Online. It will be released this January of 2011, and as far as I can tell from the DCUO’s Website, pre-ordered copies are being shipped as we speak. Some gamers are even complaining about how slow the delivery is taking. Talk about major excitement! XD

According to the site, the game is classified as an Massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), and has a lot of features. The player has a wide array of choices, from which faction they’re going to play for (heroes VS villains), to the costumes, and even the super powers that they will possess. The character creation of the game makes sure that the player is the one to decide what sort of hero or anti-hero they would be, which is pretty cool. I, personally, would like an anti-hero with a combination of Harley Quinn’s flexibility and insanity with Wonder Woman’s powers. >:)

From the preview, you can also see just how great this game is going to be mainly because it has several DC characters available to be your “mentor” in game. In the introduction, heroes like Superman, Batman, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Flash and the Green Lantern can be seen…and on the anti-heroes side theres’ Lex Luthor, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Circe, Black Adam, Deathstroke and Giganta. I found that Superman looks rather… disheveled in the preview…

Anyway, I have a feeling this game is going to take a while before it reaches the Philippine shores, because it’s been said that the monthly subscription for the game is going to reach up to $14.99 (roughly around P700 in the current economy… God knows how the exchange rate always changes ~_~). Plus, I for one, might have a hard time with the specs this game is requesting. It needs an Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 operating system, 3.0 GHz CPU Dual Core Processor, 2 GB RAM NVIDIA 8800GTX+ or ATI 3800 series+ Video Card, 30 GB of Free Hard Drive Space, DirectX-compatible sound card or motherboard sound capability, Broadband internet connection (required) and a DVD-ROM Drive (for installation, of course).

So in the meantime, while I’m saving up for a PC with these specs (harharhar), you can find out more about this game through their website @ http://www.dcuniverseonline.com/

Green Lantern The Movie

Looks like 2011 is shaping up to be a great year for super hero movies.

Personally, I am looking forward to this movie, featuring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, also known as the Green Lantern.

I want one of those rings… I wish there were cubic zirconia engagement rings that are shaped to look like the Green Lantern’s ring. XD

Personally… I’m not really fond of Ryan Reynold’s playing as Green Lantern. Viewers already saw him as Deadpool, from the X-Men Origins film, and I like him more in that role. He’s great with that role, mainly because he has the same attitude as Deadpool from the comic books. He does look good with the green-and-black suit and the mask though. I hope he does justice playing Hal Jordan.

Anyway, so far, I have seen four movie previews of super hero films for this year… one of them is the Green Lantern. There’s also “The Green Hornet” with Seth Rogen and Jay Chou, “Captain America: The First Avenger” with Chris Evans, who also played Johnny Storm aka Human Torch in the Fantastic Four films, and another film I’m looking forward to is “Thor” played by Australian hunk, Chris Hemsworth. I’ve also heard that there’s a new, rebooted Spider Man film set to release in 2012, and “The Avengers” film project is about to begin.

Whew… so many comic book heroes, so few film makers. I wonder when will they ever create a “Wonder Woman” film?

Mysterious Ticking Noise

As a prequel to my latest (and probably everyone else’s XD) Harry Potter obsession, here’s a nice little song for all you Potter fans by puppeteer, Neil Cicierega.

Ahahaha! This song is stuck to my head right now… somebody get it off my brain! XD
